The Atlantic Seaboard Wine Association’s (ASWA) West Coast Representative, Ms. Anne Vercelli, hosted a luncheon for the association to highlight wines from the competition. Ms. Vercelli lives in Healdsburg, CA and is a culinary instructor at Santa Rosa Junior College as well as a food and wine judge in various Sonoma county competitions. ASWA President, Carl Brandhorst and Vice President, David Barber were in attendance. Ms. Vercelli's goal was to invite grape growers, members of the media, wine judges and resort owners to sample east coast wines. Steve Garner, KSRO radio talk show host attended. Michele Anna Jordan, KRCB 91 FM radio show host was also in attendance. G.M. “Pooch” Pucilowski senior wine judge at the California State Fair and educator and Ken and Ellen Landis both wine judges and owners of Landis Shores resort in Half Moon Bay attended. Andy and Julie Andolsen, grape growers in Dry Creek Valley along with Jim and Kathleen Young grape growers in Alexander Valley were in attendance. Finally, we had Dennis Black and his wife Mary as part of the party. Dennis is the General Manager and consultant for Vineyards and Winery Management magazine and a principle driver of the Wineries Unlimited trade show on the east coast. Over seventeen wines were presented along with an eight course luncheon.

Wagner-Sparkling Riesling(NY), Sparkling Point-Brut (NY), Veritas-Scintilla (VA), Chateau Frank-Celebre Rosέ (NY).
